Bro. Trey Campbell

Trey Campbell became our Youth Pastor, Children’s Pastor, and Media Coordinator in June of 2021.

He grew up in Hamburg Arkansas, and was saved at the age of 12 years old. He later surrendered to the ministry and began preaching at age 15. After graduating high school Trey immediately went to the Central Arkansas Baptist Bible Institute and graduated in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in youth ministry.

Trey has served at 3 different churches before coming to First Baptist, serving in different positions, including youth pastor, associate pastor, and bi-vocational pastor. He has also served on several different worship and praise teams, including a college praise team at SAU in Magnolia, Arkansas. He has contributed to writing lesson materials for summer camps, organized out-of-state mission trips, directed vacation bible schools, and lead multiple video game ministry outreaches.

Trey met Hagan in March of 2020 and by December of that same year, they were married. Hagan helped create and lead a young adults ministry in Ruston and Temple Baptist and has a heart for missions. She and her family, the Cupples from right here in Oak Grove, have participated in Mission Trips to the Philippines and Hong Kong as well as help with church plants in St. Lois, Tennessee, Los Angeles, and Calgary, Canada. Hagan has a passion for serving people and a hunger for studying God’s Word, and she is a tremendous asset to the Youth Ministry here at the church.

Trey and Hagan have helped change things drastically upstairs for our teenagers; redecorated the upstairs with new furniture, multiplied the you into a junior high and high school class, helped encourage the teens to use their talents in starting a praise team, and organize events for them such as mission trips and d-nows.
